How do you tell a story that makes a difference? Documentary filmmakers, Roland Legiardi-Laura, Director/Producer of "To Be Heard" and Lance Kramer, Producer of "Green Corps", will host a special presentation on the art of storytelling. Both filmmakers have focused their careers on creating films that have significant impact on communities and cities across the United States. "To Be Heard" looks at whether a poetry class can change the lives of teeagers in New York. "Green Corps" gives the audience a behind the scenes look at whether green jobs can change low-income neighborhoods. Following their presentation, they will show Legiardi-Laura's latest film, "To Be Heard" as well as selections from "Green Corps".
This event will take place on February 14, 2013 from 6:00-9:00PM.
